Money can still be brought in for the Barrier Island trip.
7th grade
ELA- We will be finishing the book Outsiders this week. The end of the novel test will be Wednesday or Thursday. If your child has been out please make sure they catch up on their reading. We will be working on a project in class on the Outsiders. Encourage your child to stay on task so that they will not have to bring this work home.
SS- We will be studying Enlightment philosophers and Colonies this week. There are no quizzes this week, but there will be a quiz Tuesday of next week based on the reading and work we do this week.
6th grade
ELA- We will finish Maniac Magee this week and a end of the novel test will be given. Vocab for this week....Lean-to, rookie, immortality, geezer, grouse, pungent, reluctant, stoic, vague, pallbearer. We will be working on an ABC book in class. Encourage your child to stay on task so that they do not have to have homework.
SS-We will finish chapter 3 on Monday. The study guide will be given on Monday also. The test will be Thursday Sept 15th.
