Week of December 6-10
7th ELA- vocabulary words...static character, dynamic character, round character, flat character, theme, motto, protagonist, antagonist
Vocabulary quiz on the words above will be Friday Dec 10th
We will finish the novel Hoot this week. We will take the Accelerated Reader test in the lab and a final test will be given on Thursday. We will watch the movie Hoot on Friday and do a sheet afterwards comparing the book and movie. Sneak-a-snack that day.
7th -SS We will read chapter 19 section 3 on Monday. We will do a review sheet on Tuesday in class and a openbook quiz. We will watch a video on the working conditions and inventions during the Industrial Revolution.

We will continue reading Holes. If your child is not doing well in ELA then they should probably bring their book home each day and reread the part we read in class. Make sure they are studying their vocabulary. We will probably read chapters 20-30 this week.
6th SS- We will begining chapter 9 Greek World Monday. We will read a lesson each day and do a study guide on Thursday Dec. 9th. The chapter 9 test will be Dec. 14th.
