7th grade
ELA- Vocabulary given for chapters 13-17, and test will be Friday.
Words are apprehension, prone, dilemma, patronize, inquisitive, jurisdiction, burrow, quirky, extravaganza, and interrogate
We are still reading Hoot. We will read chapters 14-19 this week.
SS- A study guide for the Industrial Revolution was given today. The test will be on Friday. Vocabulary will be given tomorrow with the vocabulary test given this Thursday. Terms are capital, cottage system, industrialism, enclosure movement, crop rotation, factory system, urbanization, monopoly, partnerships, corporations, trade unions, strikes, socialism, capitalism, natural resources

6th grade
ELA- Vocabulary given for chapters 8-17 for Holes. Test will be Friday. We will read through chapter 19 this week. Vocabulary words are predatory, prey, upholstery, intensity, stationery, scowled, fossilized, radiate, appropriate, engrave, paranoid, excess, presume, etched, evict
SS- Students will finish reading Chapter 8 Ancient Greece. Study guide will be given, and the test will be Friday.
