Return to school on Monday April 16th!
5th and 6th graders need to bring in a deposit if they plan to go to Washington, D.C.

7th ELA- vocab for the week..abruptly, clabber, consolation, conspicuous, distribution, exhilaration, grudgingly, intoxicated, ominously, reassessing, repulsive, retreating, roused, rumpus, sarcasm, siege, sulked, swooshed, vigorously, narnia...test on Friday!
We are starting a new novel entitled Bridge to Terabithia, we will read chapters 1-4 and will work on sheets in class.
7th SS- We will read chapter 21-4. There will be an openbook quiz on Tuesday. The students will receive a study guide on Wed. and will have a short quiz on Friday.
6th ELA- We will begin a new novel entitled The Cay this week, chapters 1-6. Vocab for the week....alabaster, mutiny, calypso, schooner, sextant, channel, stern, ballast, parch.....test on Friday
6th SS- We will begin chapter 19 this week and will continue working on this chapter next week. There will be openbook quizzes on each section in class.
