There will be a dance after school on Feburary 14th from 3:00-5:00 in the gym for 5th-7th grades. The cost is $10 for the tickets. All proceeds will go for the Washington trip next year. There will be a King and Queen announced based on the amount of money that is raised by each individual. The highest amount wins. This money will also go for the trip.
7th ELA- We will begin reading Devil's Arithmetic. The vocab for the week is-unleavened, saga, passover, haggadah, seder, yiddish, fraud, exodus, kosher. Test is Friday.
We will continue to work on grammar...fragments, kinds of sentences, complete subject and predicate.
7th SS- WWI section 20-4 this week. There will be an openbook test on section 20-4 on Tuesday and the students will get a study guide for WWI on Friday. Test will be next week.
6th ELA- We will begin Joey Pigza Swallowed the Key. Vocab is....hesitate, mesmerize, scald, dispenser, intentional, consequences, antsy, forbidden, Ipecac, ricochet, disapprove, straitjacket, respect, culture, overwhelm...test is Friday.
We will continue working on grammar this week. Adjectives, Adverbs, and Prepositions.
6th SS- The students will complete chapter 12 and a study guide will be given on Wednesday. The test will be Tuesday of next week.
