Week of Nov. 15th-19th
7th grade
ELA- Set of 11 words- doggedly, balefully,sinewy, disgruntled, intriguing, excrusion, subterranean, sheathing, skulking, ruefully, and quizzically. The students will get the definitions on Monday 15th. We have read chapters 1-7 in Hoot and will read chapters 8-12 this week in class. Vocab quiz will be Friday and chapters 8-12 test will be Friday also.
SS- The students are studying the French Revolution and reviewing the American and Scientific Revolutions. A study guide will be given on Monday for the students to study. The test will be Friday 19th.

6th grade
ELA- vocab for this week are (desolate, deftly,expelling, excavated,forlorn,gestured,grimaced,juvenile, perservance,perimeter, preposterous,scarcity,stifling,spigot. The students will get the definitions on Monday and the quiz will be Friday 19th. We are starting a new novel Holes this week. We will read chapters 1-7 or more this week.
SS- The students will have a test on Thursday 18th. They will finish their study guide on Monday. We will also be working on Chapter 8 Greeks.
